On
behalf of the Irish Brethren in South East Asia, I
have the privilege to extend congratulations and Fraternal
Greetings to. Rt. Wor. Brother Chandranath Mohan Wanigatunga
on his installation as Rt. Wor. Provincial Grand Master.
This installation on the occasion of your Tenth Anniversary
as a Province is indeed one of achievement, joy and
celebration, we heartily wish Rt. Wor. Brother Wanigatunga
and his officers every success in office.
The fraternal ties between our two Provincial Grand
Lodges go back to the Constitution of the Provincial
Grand Lodge of Sri Lanka and the Installation of Rt.
Wor. Brother Ramalingam Harindran by our then Grand
Inspector of SEA, Rt. Wor. Brother Lau Kee Siong.
This was reciprocated in 2010 when Rt. Wor. Brother
Harendran, very ably, represented the Most Worshipful
Grand Master in the ceremonies of Constituting the
Provincial Grand Lodge of SEA and Installing Rt. Wor.
Brother Lau Kee Siong.
This message will not be complete without paying tribute
to Rt. Wor. Brother Harindran for all his achievements
as Provincial Grand Master and his unstinting service
to his Provincial Grand Lodge. May we wish him a happy
retirement with the following quote from the famous
solder and Freemason, general Douglas Mac Arthur;
“Like the old soldier of the ballad, I now close
my career and just fade away, an old solder who tried
to do his duty as god gave him the light to see that
duty. Goodbye”
Rt. Wor. Brother Thong Kean Sing Thong,
Provincial Grand Master,
Provincial Grand Lodge of South East Asia.
